Bokabas was born from a journey and a love affair with Indian textile craftsmanship. Inspired by the richness of traditional patterns and the desire to offer unique pieces, we imagined a brand that combines ancestral know-how and modernity. Each bag, jacket, or pencil case is handmade in small family workshops in India, using quilted cotton and exclusive prints. The beginnings
The summer of 2024 marked the birth of Bokabas. We launched our first reversible quilted cotton tote bags, handmade in India. Our first market in Contis was the starting point of a wonderful adventure, where we met our first customers, captivated by the authenticity, colors, and originality of our creations.
The rise
Building on this success, we expanded our collection with quilted jackets, hand-embroidered velvet jackets, matching pencil cases, as well as yoga bags, covers, and flowing pants. 2025 was also the year of a stronger presence in the markets of the Southwest: Seignosse, Vieux-Boucau, Contis, Moliets, Hossegor, Bayonne, Biarritz, etc. With up to 14 markets per week in high season, Bokabas has established itself as a visible and recognized artisanal brand.
New ambitions
In 2026, we will continue our development with new pieces: fanny packs, shorts, scarves and beach towels. We are also preparing our first winter collection , with models designed for the cold season, and will participate in Christmas markets to share our creations in a festive atmosphere. Finally, an important step: the entry into partner stores , to allow Bokabas to reach a new milestone while remaining faithful to its values of craftsmanship, color and comfort.
