A question?

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this large velvet weekend bag fit in an airplane's overhead compartment?

Yes. The bag measures 55 × 30 × 25 cm in a soft format — compatible with EasyJet and Ryanair underseat baggage gauges. The soft velvet structure allows it to adapt slightly if needed. As exact dimensions may vary by airline, please check the conditions at the time of booking.

What is the difference between the velvet weekend bag and the cotton weekend bag?

Same XXL format (40L), same capacity, same padded structure — two opposing materials. Quilted cotton is visually lighter, ideal for all seasons. Corduroy is denser, warmer, naturally associated with autumn-winter outfits. Both are suitable for men or women who travel regularly. Many choose both to alternate according to the season.

Can this large velvet bag be used as a diaper bag or a maternity bag?

Absolutely. The XXL 55 × 30 × 25 cm size and 40-liter capacity offer all the space needed for mom's, dad's, and baby's belongings. The three pockets make organization easy—personal items, baby's essentials, and quickly accessible necessities. The colorful velvet radically transforms the look of a standard changing bag.

How to care for a corduroy travel bag?

Delicate hand wash, flat dry mandatory - no tumble drying. The heat from the tumble dryer compacts the velvet fibers and makes them lose their ribbed texture. For small stains, a soft, damp cloth passed gently in the direction of the ribs will suffice.

What are your delivery times and return policy?

Free delivery on orders over €60. Orders are shipped within 2 to 4 business days. Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the product is in its original condition. For any questions, Bokabas customer service responds by email.

The large velvet weekend bag for getting away without sacrificing style

The Bokabas corduroy weekend bag is the winter, textured version of the colorful large travel bag. The same proven format—55 × 30 × 25 cm, 40 XXL liters—but in quilted corduroy. A large travel bag for women or men that doesn't resemble any standard carry-on suitcase.
It's for anyone who doesn't want to put their personality on hold while traveling. Autumn city trip, mountain getaway, sports trip—whether for women or men, this corduroy weekend bag goes with you and stands out in airports, train stations, and hotels.
Two functional benefits: 40 liters for two full days—clothes, sports gear, toiletry bag, chargers—and 2 pockets, an exterior pocket and an interior zippered pocket for organized packing without rummaging. The handles sewn down to the bottom support the load, whether carried by hand or on the shoulder.
The Bokabas specificity: quilted corduroy on a large travel bag is a fashionable material on a utilitarian format. No other corduroy weekend bag offers this. The result: luggage that stands out on the conveyor belt before anyone else's.
Friday night, you place it on the train seat. Everyone turns around.

Where to travel with this big bag

On a city break in autumn/winter

Corduroy naturally complements cold-weather outfits - coats, sweaters, boots. This large corduroy weekend bag sets the tone for the outfit even before you open your suitcase. 55 × 30 × 25 cm in a soft format: it can be used as a cabin bag on EasyJet and Ryanair. Two days in Amsterdam or Lisbon without baggage fees, without compromising on style - for him or for her.

As a maternity bag or an XXL changing bag

Generous 40-liter XXL size, 2 pockets (one inside and one outside), easy access — this large velvet weekend bag works perfectly as a maternity bag or diaper bag. Large enough for mom, dad, and baby's belongings, soft enough not to clutter the room. The colorful velvet radically changes the clinical look of the classic hospital bag.

For sports and active travel

Sports gear, a change of clothes, shoes, a toiletries bag — the 40-liter XXL absorbs complete equipment for a sports session or an active trip. The quilted velvet protects the contents from transport shocks. Lightweight when empty, it doesn't add bulk before it's even filled. A large sports travel bag that looks more like a fashion accessory than a gym bag.

What velvet really changes

In the market for large travel bags, velvet doesn't exist. Manufacturers stick to canvas, nylon, technical polyester — functional, but characterless. Whether you're a man or a woman, when you're looking for an original large weekend bag, you find the same old options. This corduroy weekend bag brings something new to the table.
Quilted velvet is not delicate. The one-centimeter padding protects the contents, and the ribbed structure withstands regular use. Gentle hand wash at 30°C, flat dry — velvet holds up well if treated with care.
The handles sewn all the way to the bottom are not a minor detail — they're what differentiates a bag that lasts from one that gives out on the third trip. The main zipper opens all the way for easy access, even on the go.
The Bokabas DNA: bold colors on an unexpected material. Corduroy, boho prints, saturated hues — this large weekend bag is unlike any other option on the market, for women or for men.
For someone who travels and dresses well, this bag becomes the statement piece that gets noticed even before it's opened.
